Women's Health & Birth Center provides excellent family-centered care in the safest, most nurturing environment possible.

At the WHBC pregnancy is considered a normal condition, not an illness, and the midwives devote extra time to education and to accommodating the mother's personal needs and desires.

Our Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) — registered nurses with advanced training and board certification in pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecology — offer a more emotionally satisfying experience of pregnancy and childbirth without unnecessary technological intervention.

ginko leafWhy I Love the Birth Center

Women’s Health and Birth Center is a rare and magical place. The clarity of this sometimes strikes me, and in these moments I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of it as a Midwife. Way back in 1995, I sent my resume to Rosanne, hoping to be hired as a nurse. Well, here I am, a Certified Nurse Midwife and I can hardly believe I am working my dharma!! I have come home, and I love it!

Every woman in the United States should give birth in the supportive environment of a free-stnding Birth Center where the natural process of woman-centered pregnancy, labor and birth is honored. Not just in words, but where the philosophy is a lived experience. Come and visit!! Spread the word! It's the place to be and feel free to give birth!

Many Blessings, Eveline Venable, CNM
