Doula Services …
A doula is a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and just after birth; or who provides emotional and practical support during the postpartum period.
Studies have shown that when doulas attend births, labors are shorter with fewer complications, babies are healthier and they breastfeed more easily.

Doulas are among the services and support mothers can choose to use at the Birth Center. On the second Wednesday of every month from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, Meet the Doula night is an opportunity to meet local doulas and ask questions about their services.
